Which of the following do the body paragraphs in an informational text contain? A..Thesis B..Main idea C..Introduction D..Supporting details
I can narrow it down for you. The Introduction is not considered a part of the body; it comes before the body paragraphs. Technically, the thesis is the whole paper, but I suspect answer A means to say thesis statement. Either way, that can't be the answer because a thesis statement is always in the introduction paragraph and the entire thesis contains the introduction, the body, and the conclusion. So it's not A or C. So you have a 50/50 chance on getting the right answer.
I'd go with D, assuming that the main idea was presented in the introduction.
thanks :)
D. Supporting details, as the thesis should be in the Introductory paragraph.
D
