I do not know where to put this question....it is more of a law question...

In Texas, marijuana is illegal, personal or medical use. However, in Austin, every year, there is the Marley Fest. It lasts 3 days, and people walk around smoking weed in front of cops and everything, and it is OK. How is this legal ? How can this happen ?

@kelliegirl33 Smoking Marijuana we know that it is not correct morally. It's an extreme form of addiction and can have devastating effects on health. While texas government has made it illegal, the laws in Austin are not severe against it.
Some acts are illegal everywhere such as homicide but some acts such as even alcohol consumption. Laws are different around the world for them, Saudi Arabia and UAE consider alcohol consumption as illegal but in US driving under the influence is illegal. The main thing is morality.

I was just curious...my best friend is going and she wants me to go....I don't know if I even want to go. The concerts are good, but I do not want to be around a lot of people smoking weed.
