can someone help me with this reaction? I don't know where the arrows go.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

What reaction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, i meant movement of electrons. Not reaction

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Wait, what is the question then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says to draw arrows to show the movement of electrons. I tried it, but got it wrong. I drew an arrow from the carbon to the hydrogen...but that would give them a positive and negative charge; which they don't have in this case. So how would I do it, so there is no charge ?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

That's a radical reaction. Just as a comment, you're going to have multiple products.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Are you familiar with radical reactions?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

It is a radical reaction you use half arrows |dw:1388876095989:dw|

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

two electrons make one covalent bond
