Which of these statements best explains why P waves arrive earlier than S waves at the seismic station? S waves are generated after P waves arrive at the surface. S waves make longer lines on the seismogram than P waves. P waves are created first and S waves originate from P waves when they are reflected by solid rocks. P waves move straight through all medium and S waves move only through solids in a curvy motion. @plohrr
well p waves can move through solid rock and a liquid medium, and s waves can only move through solid rock. we feel the s waves in an earthquake.

I was doing some research and I was going with B as well Just wanted another opinion , thank you very much :)
