A margin of error is basically that ± sign. The 48% might be wrong within 3%, so just add or subtract them and you get a range of numbers where the right percentage might be.
ohhh get it now. so the margin of error is like basically you add 3, since it's 3%, to the 48, and you get 51% and then you subtract 3% from 48 also, and then you get the range? so that's how the margin of error is? thanks so much!
