Skinner was the head boss around the restaurant. Skinner was the new guy, but when he found the mouse, he started improving. Skinner was jealous and became boastful. He went to length to sabotage Skinner. There was a lot of competition between them. The main conflict concerned their abilities to cook, lead, and who would run the restaurant. 

Skinner wanted to secure and maintain his position, and felt Remy was a threat.
