Okay, thanks..can you explain what they are and how to use them in sentences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We have two types of clauses Independant clauses,When removed from its sentence,an independant clause makes complete sentence and these clauses are joined together by the usual connecting words: are and, hut, or, nor, and for. Subordinate clause :cannot stand alone as a sentence,so it needs an independant clause to complete the meaning. there are 3 types of subordinate clauses Adverb clause, Adjective clause and Noun clause .
