What is the most precise name for quadrilateral ABCD with vertices A (0, 0), B (6, 3), C (4, 7), D (-2, 4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you graph those points?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be a parallelogram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or rectangle, it is hard to tell.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

My sketch is not that accurate. If you find the slopes of both pairs of opposite sides, and opposite sides are parallel, then it's a parallelogram. If in addition to that, one angle between consecutive sides is a right angle, then it's also a rectangle.
