OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

|dw:1388959897276:dw|

HELP @nikato

OpenStudy (nikato):

Proportion agains

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES

OpenStudy (nikato):

7 / 9 = 56 / x . Solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.22222

OpenStudy (anonymous):

56/9

OpenStudy (nikato):

Cross multiply. So 56(9) = 7x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IT EQAUL 6.2222

OpenStudy (anonymous):

56(9) = 7x 504 = 7x 504/7 = x 72 = x

OpenStudy (nikato):

No, what's 56 x 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

504

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now divide by 7 to get x by itself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I NEED HELP WIT 16

OpenStudy (nikato):

I don't think any of the answers are similar

OpenStudy (nikato):

The closest would be A with a ratio of 2/3, I guess. Do u know @kelliegirl33 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well...the area is 1/2bh , so the area of triangle drawn is 10. none of the other triangles have an area of 10. I would go with C because Ronnie's triangle is 1 cm smaller then the one already drawn.
