Mine would be when my day gave me a gift for my birthday when i turned 11. That was the first time i had ever gotten a birthday present from my dad since i was born. i was excited about what i had gotten. It was a pair of black knee boots that i had been wanting for a long time and they fit just right. i worn them for two years straight i barely wore any other shoes. 

 Getting those shoes for me was the best thing my dad has ever done for me. They meant so much to me then and they still do. i have them in my keepsakes chest and i love to look at them every once and a while to remember that day. I cry every time i look at them because i see my fathers love in them and how he took the time to spend his beer and cigarette money for a pair of shoes for me on my birthday.
