Please help!!! Math help!! I need this answered by midnight!! :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm very stumped on this question and I don't know what to do! I have reviewed the lessons, but I just don't get it! Please identify each relationship as direct or inverse. Next calculate the constant for each relationship. How are the two relationships different? How are they similar? Relationship 1: x times y is 3 Relationship 2: *In the picture below* Please help!! I need this answered quick!! :(

Well the first tells you what? x*y=3? So the second relationship loops linear. From there you have x*y=3 and y=mx+b for some m and b (which you find from the plot). From there you can solve it.

And you tell me whether its direct or inverse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it direct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

Thanks! :3
