OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 has 5 factors = 2 4 6 8 10 can someone message me

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

4 is not a factor of 10, cuz 10 does not leave a remainder 0 when divided by 4

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

factors of 10 are : 1, 2, 5, 10 it has oly four factors ok ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

however, if u take a prime number like 7 or 11, they have oly two factors :- factors of 7 : 1, 7 factors of 11 : 1, 11 1 and the number itself are factors of every number. so the least number of factors a number can have is 2.
