I ain't sure why they are giving me this in 7th grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thank you sooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (abdela25):

okay your welcome i have an answer for youu

OpenStudy (abdela25):

it is B) 934.65

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thank you so so much!!

OpenStudy (abdela25):

i will also tell you how i got it if you wantt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yes please! :)

OpenStudy (abdela25):

okayy

OpenStudy (abdela25):

first you take the original number...in this case it would be 3,015.00

OpenStudy (abdela25):

and you have to figure out 25% of it

OpenStudy (abdela25):

if you type in a calculator 25% of 3015.00 you would get 753.75

OpenStudy (abdela25):

assuming you are still in 7th grade...your teacher should be allowing you to use calculators ...to figure this out in your head would take more time and gets complicated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you so much!! My teacher lets my use calculators if i have to

OpenStudy (abdela25):

anyways you got 753.75 when you get 25% OF 3015.00 now you have to find 6% of 3015.00

OpenStudy (abdela25):

you do the same thing type in a calculator 6% of 3015.00 and you would get 180.90

OpenStudy (abdela25):

just add 753.75 and 180.90 and you will get your final answer which is 934.65 ;) ;) ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank so much for everything

OpenStudy (abdela25):

your most definitely welcome! feel free to Pm me with any questions you may have... as of for now any more help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok I will. I actually do have another question. Gimme a second to type it

OpenStudy (abdela25):

okay take your time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A new website was reviewed by 96 people. The creator of the website surveyed 8 of the reviewers at random. He asked them to rate the website on a scale from 1 to 10. Their ratings are below. 3, 7, 10, 6, 3, 10, 10, 6 Assuming that the sample was representative of all reviewers, what was the mean rating of the website for all reviewers? A. 4.5 B. 6.5 C. 7.125 D. 6.875

OpenStudy (abdela25):

okay to find the mean you must add all the numbers from least to greatest

OpenStudy (abdela25):

then divide by how many numbers there are...in this case we have 8 different numbers or (reviews)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh ok

OpenStudy (abdela25):

after adding them all we get a total of 55

OpenStudy (abdela25):

now divide 55 by how many different numbers we have

OpenStudy (abdela25):

we have 8 different numbers

OpenStudy (abdela25):

55/8=6.875

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh ok I get it now thank you so much

OpenStudy (abdela25):
