An effect is a change that is a result or consequence of something. An affect is to make a difference to something, aka have an effect on. What do you mean by examples? Examples of what?
Affect is a verb effect it the noun of it.
Her studies were affected by her injuries. The effect of global warming on the environment.
In general, AnImEfReaK is correct. Affect (when meaning change) is an action or verb. Effect is a noun. Cold affected the water by freezing it. Ice was the effect.
