OpenStudy (madhatter):

What role does the vice president have in the lawmaking process?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Vice-president really plays no role in the legislative process. He plays no part in the actual debate in the House and the Senate floors that determine whether a bill will be passed on to the president for approval. He just signs the bill when it is ready to be sent to the president. One thing he can do is act as a tie-breaker voter in the approval process.

OpenStudy (madhatter):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)
