give me an example of any society that is monolith , u wont find , ppl r deffrent they act as they used to act based on there customs and traditions, so abt this phrase "that the Muslim world is not Monolith " its juge the religion not how ppl behaves .
 for me i guss the answer is like this: 

most of folks r not monolith cuz its the human nature ,and it related to selfesh desires for som of them.
