hey guys does it get hotter or colder when you go down in the core
This is not earth science, but it gets hotter.
Hotter Its the earths core
We have hardly scratched the surface of earth's crust but it is well known that it gets hotter towards the core. Essentially most of the mass of the earth consists of molten magma (?). As an example the deepest bore ever drilled by humans experienced temperatures of 180 C before they stopped drilling ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole_)
yeah it is science and thank you guys:)
I know that this question is a science question, but this group is for Computer Science, not Earth Science.
whats the difference ?
Computer Science is mainly about computer programming. It's hardly even a science. It also doesn't cover any of the other sciences like earth, life, or physical.
