Write the equation of the graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first pick two coordinate points, and find the slope,

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Seesm very simple, put it into y = mx + b.. its in y-y1=m(x-x1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then put it in the form \[\huge y-y_1 = m(x-x_1)\]

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Suppose i took b at random, i would plot by y intercept at 5 and go up 1 right 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you need to, you can put ^^ in to \[y = mx+b\]

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

@helpme1.2 wut? I think tis wrong

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Anyways, D is y - 3 = 1/2(x+1) so i would multiply 1/2 times x and 1 so y - 3 = 1/2x + 0.5 +3 +3 and y = 1/2x + 3.5 3.5 is the y intercept so i would plot that and go up 1 and right 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from the graph the slope is -1/2

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Ik, i was making a point on how to solve >.>
