PLEASE HELP, HOW DO I WRITE 85X+55 USING FUNCTION NOTATION PLEASE HELP THIS IS THE ENTIRE QUESTION... sooo annoying ): Part A: Sam rented a boat at $225 for 2 days. If he rents the same boat for 5 days, he has to pay a total rent of $480. Write an equation in the standard form to represent the total rent (y) that Sam has to pay for renting the boat for x days. (4 points) Part B: Write the equation obtained in Part A using function notation.(2 points) Part C: Describe the steps to graph the equation obtained above on the coordinate axes. Mention the labels on the axes and the intervals. (4 points)
I think its just f(x)= 85x+55
@TheBadWolf are you sure ? math doesnt feel like it could be that simple
No it's not that I was confused before you changed the question.
Yeah, I didnt think it would be that easy. Thanks anyway, if you could please help me with part B and C that would be awesome and I'll try to give you a medal or something, Idk, Im new to this site.
So you figured out Part A?
yeah its 85x+55, im stressing so much, i have so many other questions to finish, i read the lesson for about an hour and i really tried to understand and i just cannot understand math
@TheBadWolf are you going to help me ? i really am in rush
with all due respect.
Well I just did some googled it and it seems like all you need is y=85x+55, and then explain how you'd graph that
did some *googling*
but would it be something like f(x)
wouldnt*
@TheBadWolf
either way it's pretty much the same thing. the only difference is how you go about solving the equation. but I'm pretty sure your answer for part b is y=85x+55 and part c is explaing how you'd graph that
