Find the volume of the region formed by revolving the following regions about the given axis. y = x^2, x = -1, x = 4, y = 0 (x-axis) I know i need to find the integral using π ∫r^2 with a at the bottom of the integral and b at the top. I just dunno how to get those numbers?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Have you considered a = -1 and b = 4

I'm more so confused on how to get r? is it just x^2 and then when i plug it into the integral it'd be (x^2)^2?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

What's wrong with that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't tell if you're saying i made a mistake or if that is correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind, i was correct. doumo arigatou
