Please help me simplify: cos^2 [(π/2)-x] /cos x. It's supposed to become sin x tan x, but can someone explain how to do it using trig identities? Thank you!

I think you have written the question incorrectly. sin x tan x = sin^2 x / cos x, which may help.

No, I didn't. Thanks for your help anyways.
