Are we talking about dice?  A can be 1 to 6, B can be 1 to 6, so 6*6=36 possibilities.

To get 7 : 
A = 1, B = 6, 
A = 2, B = 5, 
A = 3, B = 4,
A = 4, B = 3
A=  5,  B = 2
A = 6, B = 1

Probability is desired outcomes / possible outcomes. You can finish.
