Equation of a line going through any point is: \[(y-y_{0})=m(x-x_{0})\] Plug in numbers and you get the answer that's already been posted. The answer for a perpendicular line is the same as the answer to part (a), except the slope is the negative inverse. (So instead of m, it's -1/m).
