In a species of plant, narrow leaves are the result of a recessive allele. The only alleles for leaf shape in this population are B (broad leaves) and b (narrow leaves). The number of plants with narrow leaves is compared to the number of plants with broad leaves over several generations. The table below shows this information:
Use the Hardy-Weinberg equation to show whether or not this population is evolving. Describe how the introduction of an herbivore that only eats narrow leaves would affect the frequency of B and b over time.
The hardy weinberg equation is p^2 + 2pq + q^2 right? But how do I use that with this graph?
