PLEASE HELP!! I have answered three questions but need help with the other two! 3. One different between a point mutation and a chromosomal mutation is that ___ (1 point) A. A point mutation affects the DNA of more genes than a chromosomal mutation B. A point mutation can involve a insertion or deletion, but cannot result in a frameshift C. A chromosomal mutation can change the number of chromosomes in a cell. D. A chromosomal mutation is more likely to be passed on to offspring or Daughter cells.

4. Two identical DNA sequences undergo a mutation. What type of mutation occurred? Originals: -G-C-T-T-A-G-T-C-C-A-G-T-A Mutations: -G-T-A-T-A-G-T-C-C-A-G-T-A- And -G-C-T-T-A-G-T-C-C-A-G-C-T- A. Translocation B. Insertion C. Deletion D. Inversion None of these terms were in my book, I looked for a long time in the glossery AND in the index!! Thank you for your help!!!

Can you please look up point mutation and chromosomal mutation? You should be able to find the difference from the explanations. For number 5, what do you see is the difference? How is it different? What do you think could have caused that(by logic)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Insertion?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I see more like, some parts getting replaced with a different sequence. What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

translocation?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I would say yes :) For number 3 you will have to look up the definitions. I don't think I've done that or I have forgotten it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. thanks!!!!

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

You're very welcome. If you're satisfied, please close this question :) Have a good day!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You too! I also got 100%

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Good job! Can I have a medal? Hehehehehe :3
