2x + y < 10 2x - 4y > 8 Equation 1: 2x + y < 10 --> y < -2x+10 Equation 2: 2x - 4y > 8 --> y < 1/2 x -2 say that they are y=-2x+10 and y=1/2 x - 2 plug in x-values to get x-coordinates for each of those, (I mean graph just like any normal equation) and in each, shade a part that i above the y in a dotted line (since it's not equal it's just more than) after you shade each, the solution is going to be whatever is shaded in both equations/lines.
