Which answer is a correctly punctuated compound sentence? A. This music is very different and I don't know if I like it. B. This music is very different I don't know if I like it. C. This music is very different, I don't know if I like it. D. This music is very different; I don't know if I like it.

I believe A is incorrect because there should be a comma before the and B is incorrect because it's basically run-on sentence. D is preferable over C because the semicolon is used to connect two independent clauses which it does in this case.
