It's infinite number of solutions because when you solve the equations, you get 0=0 and that means there are an infinite # of solutions http://recursostic.educacion.es/descartes/web/materiales_didacticos/Simple_equations/ecuacion3.htm do ctrl+f then type 0 = 0 to read on about it
