How do you graph y=5x-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the slope and y intercept, use the y=mx+b formula where m=slope and b is the y intercept. y=mx+b Using the y=mx+b formula, m=-5 and b=7. m=-5, b=7 So y=-5x+7 and the point is (0,7)

to draw its graph, find its x-intercept and y-intercept and connect both these points to obtain the line. to find x intercept---->put y=0 in the equation to find y intercept----->put x=0 in the equation
