Remove 9 ohm resister, then find thevenin voltage and resistance, then converter to Norton if you like.

Seems to me if you break the circuit in two at the nodes of the 5 ohm resistor, solve for the Norton current, add 5 and then current divide using the Resistance looking into the right hand side and the 5 ohm resistance.
