No sorry maybe I wasn't clear. The denominator you are looking for has to be one that is common to them both. So something times 3 will give you this number and something times 4 will give you the same number. You want similar denominators. So it has to be a number that both 3 and 4 will get. An easy way in questions like this is to see what number 3 and 4 will both divide into evenly then make sure it it is the smallest of the ones that it does.
