In your opinion, which event do you think was the most important during Jefferson’s presidency?

Definitely the Louisiana Purchase and sending out the expedition of Lewis and Clark. He didn't do much else that is memorable.

While it was important at the time I suppose, it was a total failure by all accounts. Not exactly something for a leader to be proud of.
