Which equation represents "the sum of eight times a number and seven is twice the number"? 8(7 + 2N) 8N = 7 + 2N 7N + 8 = 2N 8N + 7 = 2N << i chose this!

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

if the number is N, "eight times a number" would be 8N. The sum of that and 7 would be 8N + 7. "Twice a number" would be 2N. "The sum of eight times a number and seven is twice the number" should be 8N + 7 = 2N, just like you chose — good job!
