Quadratic Formula, can someone explain how to do it? Like, taking this equation, and solving for x: x^2 - 4x - 21 = 0 I just don't understand??? The multiple choice is - a. x = -3; x = -7 b. x = (it's a difficult-looking answer to type, so I will write it) c. x = 3, x = -7 d. no real solutions
