What can you tell about the means for these two months? The mean for December is higher than January's mean. It is almost certain that January's mean is higher. There is no way of telling what the means are. The narrow IQR for January causes its mean to be lower.

Well I would say you just have to look at the graph sideways to see it clearly :) Which one has more total?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

December...duh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know its not D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I thought it over. It's A

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

And the mean will be something over total days. So...? This is of course if I understand the graph correctly. It looks weird.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats because its a box plot, I hate them. But I think it is A

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I think so too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes me too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I looked at it wrong the first time. So it has to be A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank you both ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anytime. :)
