What happens to your cells when you become dehydrated?

When you are dehydrated, your cells try to take water from other parts of the body. The problem is, then those selfish parts take all of it leaving another part of the body in need of water. This happens until all of the bodies water it almost used up. Then the organs start shutting down, but by this point you should either A. Be passed out and dying or B. In the hospital. Plant cells become flaccid and soon die! (a state called plasmolysis) Whereas animal cells shrink and shrivel and eventually die!
