OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of these ordered pairs is a solution to the linear inequality y – 3x ≤ –8? (–2, 4) (1, 3) (1, –5) (3, 4)

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

y – 3x ≤ –8 y ≤ + 3x–8 now check all point in it for example (–2, 4) ---> x=-2 , y=4 y ≤ + 3x–8 ---> 4 ≤ + 3(-2)–8 ---->4 ≤ -14 false so (-2,4) is not answer
