Do you have any idea how to do this problem. It is just some algebra.
f(x) = (3 – 4x)² Instead of this, you should write y=(3 – 4x)² and solve for x, so the result should be x=....
\[x = \frac{3 + or - \sqrt{f(x)}}{4}\]
Determine whether f^–1 is a function. For this part, you need the function to be 1 to 1. This function is not. Should I find you a definition?
That is correct. And from that solution you can see that it is not a function. Do you see why?
