the diagonals of a rhombus are 6cm and 8cm. find the perimeter.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you got any clue? I will help that your biggest tool should be the so called Pythagoras Theorem

OpenStudy (only4u):

20 cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you atleast explain it? please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is correct but I do not think that is a big help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

side is 5 cm and perimeter =20 cm

OpenStudy (only4u):

diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at ri8 angles .. so u can apply pythagoras theorem to one of the triangles formed by diagonals and a side

Check this video, it explains this kind of problem clearly. (on extra she has a lovely Indian accent :-) )
