Medal given, help. Graphs// The number of sofas a factory produces varies directly with the number of hours the machinery is operational. Suppose the factory can produce 455 sofas in 48 hours. What is an equation that relates the number of sofas produced, n, with the amount of time, t, in hours? What is the graph of your equation?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Replace t in each of the equations with the number of hours it takes to produce 455 sofas, if it gives you 455 than you have the right equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.n=9.48t Because there are 455 sofas and 48 hours

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Since you know it is a linear function you can also sub in 24 hours and if you get 455/2 then you definitely have the right equation

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

basically if it spits out the information you are looking for it is a good model for the factories production

okay thank you. how about this

plz post in a dif question :)
