well angles 2 and 3 are equal because opposite angles in a parallelogram are equal. then angle 1 is supplementary to angles 2 or 3... so start by using the supplementary property angle 1 + angle 2 =180 use the given information and solve for x. then when you know the measure of angle 2.. you can use that to solve for y in angle 3
