No one's ever in physics :/

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

It's not our fault, really. Most of our subjects are dead. Just post the link to your question in the active chats (a.k.a. math, math and math) When in doubt, go to math.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Hi, This is a big issue and we are aware. The administrators are looking to solve this. We're currently revamping the Ambassador program with Ambassador training and criteria, that will help improve the overall quality of answered-questions. It has been spoken about in the past, and strongly feel that Assigned Sections should be implemented among the staff. ~ Cheers.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

We actually have multiple bilingual and/or polylingual Ambassadors that could be assigned to the languages area. We could also invite a few physics and chemistry users with a high Smart Score to be assigned to their respective subjects. This I have been wanting for a while, it's been discussed to much and never actually tried out to see if it actually brings life to these rather inactive and mainly dead subjects. We also have an overflow of sub-sections that haven't obtained question in months (even years) that have no reason to be existing here. If we remove most of the unnecessary sub-sections and assign different ambis to rather dead subjects, (english, languages, physics, chemistry) it could attract more studiers of that subject and bring back some life to those subjects. It's clearly a long-term goal, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to at least try.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I'm on it. Will start making rounds in physics.

OpenStudy (kainui):

I have suggested this multiple times before, but the main problem with this is that OS forces you into only viewing one subject at a time rather than being able to look at a All the subjects you're currently "Studying" sorted by newest. Since most other topics are completely empty and it doesn't even notify you anymore that a topic has new/recent questions it's really still living in the dark ages.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

I shall be in physics more often now.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

That's because you didn't tag me. And because not too many girls go there......

OpenStudy (kainui):

@primeralph them underage chicks huh?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Yeah that part sucks.

OpenStudy (lastdaywork):

@administrators Please consider grouping all Physics related subjects (like MIT OCW, Hippo etc) under the domain of Physics as it had already been done for Mathematics.
