OpenStudy (calculusxy):

if the vertex angle of an isosceles triangle is 30, what is the value of the angle that is exterior to one of the base angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't you have to find the other 2 angles of the triangle first

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Is it 150? I think it's like a supplementary angle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, all the angles in a triangle add up to 180. since its an isosceles , the other two have to be congruent. therefore each angle is 75.
