The sum of two periodic functions are as I understand it often but not always periodic given the example sin(x)+sin(pi*x) isn't periodic. If I add two periodic functions what is the criterion for the relation between their individual fundamental periods in order for the sum of the two beeing periodic. That it is a real number / integer?
