Medal Awarded and become a fan! :) At one point during WW2, the percentage of women among US industrial workers was rising in every individual industry, but falling overall. Total employment was rising most rapidly in heavy industry, where few women were employed, so male employment rose faster even though women were gaining in every industry. TRUE or FALSE? Please give explanation!
True because even though employment of women was rising, there were still few women workers compared to male workers so the male workers were dominating the industries still
but if the percent of women workers in the industry was rising, but the total percent of workers in the industry was falling, then the male workers would be leaving to fight the war. therefore the male employment would not be rising, right?
true but because of how many male workers there were to start out with, there were still more male than female
but how did male employment rise faster than women if the men were leaving?
sorry I didn't see that part it would be false nice save
i wouldnt have seen it if ya didnt answer, thanks!
