HELP, WILL REWARD! What value completes the square for the expression? x^2-16x a.-64 b.64 c.32 d.-32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b because what u wanna do is always take the b term in ax^2+bx+c and divide that by two and square it. so in this case, half of -16 is -8 and when squared it would become positive right? -8*-8 = 64 cheers :)
