can someone just help me Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form with a slope of 3 and a y-intercept of -2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large y=\color{red}mx+\color{blue}b\) with \(\color{red}m=\color{red}3, \color{blue}b=\color{blue}{-2}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

notice it says "write" not "find" i.e. you write it in that form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=3x+-2 that the answer ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you don't want your math teacher to grumble, write \(y=3x-2\) not \(y=3x+-2\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o sorry so y = 3 x - 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

thank you
