@AnImEfReaK

OpenStudy (rane):

find the value of h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

h=16 380

OpenStudy (rane):

thats not the answer @jinxhead20 btw how can u get such a large value ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wtf sorry wrong question!

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well I think the question is \[2^{15 - 2h} = 8\] rewrite 8 as a power of 2 \[2^{15 - 2h} = 2^3\] now equate the powers and solve for h 15 - 2h = 3 hope this helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gotta get outta here

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

2^15 - 2h = 8 32,768 - 2h = 8 32,768 - 8 = 2h 32,760 = 2h 32,760/2 = h 16380 = h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 that's what I said

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I see that now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

h = 16 380

OpenStudy (rane):

thank you @campbell_st

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

the problem is written wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw gotta get outta here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2^15-8=2h ^ Find this after rearranging.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Than solve for h. Sorry for the late reply.

OpenStudy (rane):

its ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or you could do this 2^15-2^3=2h 2^(15-3) = 2h Factorise...

OpenStudy (rane):

yh i know this method but as u know Br, Minhaj wants us to use the method that is required by the q'
