If sin Θ = 5/6 , what are the values of cos Θ and tan Θ?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Are you familiar with SOH CAH TOA?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kainui yes, it's a weird calendar where you can solve those kind of math problems..

*calculator

OpenStudy (kainui):

What? No.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jk I'm not familiar with it...

Sin = opposite / adjacent. Use Pythagorean theorem \[a ^{2} + b ^{2} = c ^{2}\] to find the hypotenuse value. Which is \[\sqrt{c^2}\]. then you will have all the numbers needed! Cos=adjacent/hypotenuse Tan=opposite/hypotenuse
