Mathematics 8 Online
OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Select the pair of equations whose graphs are perpendicular. 5x – 8y = 9 12x – 5y = 7 x + 6y = 8 y = 2x – 8 y = 2x – 7 x + 2y = 3 2y = –3x + 5 2x + 3y = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you convert the third pair to standard form, you'll see that their respective slopes are 2 and -1/2. This is the only requirement for being perpendicular; the slopes have to be opposite(negative) reciprocals.\[y=2x-7\]\[y=-\frac{1}{2}x+1.5\]

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

so its the third one? @bagajr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah
